OS X Mountain Lion

It has been recently announced by Apple that the OS X Mountain Lion is coming out in the summer. It is an upgrade from Lion OS X. To find out information about Lion OS X, visit my first blog entry from 2011.

Reminders: originally, reminders only came on the iPhone, but now with OSX Mountain Lion, it has included reminders on its system. With iCloud, your reminders will be recorded on every Apple device you own. You can set due dates and you can get alerts for deadlines. There is also a search box field in the reminders application that allows you to find any reminder very quickly.

Notification centre: something new is the notification centre, which has not been used on any Apple device before. Notification centre will inform you if you have an email, instant message, friend request, a calendar alert and more. Notification allows you to keep up with everything that is going on. The notification centres pops up quickly on the right side of the screen and then disappears so it won't bother you too much.

Game centre: again, an application from the iPhone has been used in the new Apple processing system. Not only can you play on the game centre, but you can play with other people on other Apple devices. For example, you can be playing on the game centre on your laptop whilst playing with someone else who is on an iPod touch. This means that no matter what Apple device you are using, you can play game centre whenever you want.

Sharing: A new button on safari called 'share' allows you to spread the word about links, photos or videos you enjoy. This is the new, easier way to share links that you are interested in.
