Watch the following: (It is a Mac vs. PC Commercial based on boxing.)

As PC said, Apple's sales are through the roof.  Reason being, Apple computer systems function really well because of how they apply technology to their products.  There products work really quickly and efficiently and that is what most people want

As shown in the commercial, PC is mad because Apple is doing so well.  PC is frustrated because Apple continues to create technology that a lot of people want.  Who doesn't want a fast working computer, not many people... who doesn't want a slow computer, many people.

Because Apple has technology that keeps advancing, this draws the public attention and they keep wanting to go back to the store to see what else has been recently invented.

Mac vs. PC - Innovation

Watch the following (It is a Apple bs. PC commercial based on innovation):

Protection is key when it comes to a laptop.  No one wants a laptop that will break easily when it falls.  When is comes to Apple laptops, innovation is what prevents the laptops from breaking.  No one wants a laptop that has visible protection.  You want laptops that look sleek, just like Mac laptops.

People also want a long battery life.  Apple guarantees a long battery life to last around 10 hours which is a whole work day.  PC do not last that long because they have so much programming, and they cannot balance it with providing life battery life.  You can have as much programming you want on your mac, and at the same time you can have a long battery life.

In conclusion, Apple provides many options for the user.  Innovation has provided so many options for Mac users, and has helped develop their technology.

Unfortunately I could not attach the video to this blog, so you can just click on the URL above and it will bring you to the appropriate page.

iLife is what makes Apple stand out from the rest of the technology world (which is generally P.C.).  The following is some iLife programs:

- iMovie
- iTunes
- iPhoto
- iCal

All of the programs mentioned above are apart of iLife.  All of the iLife programs can basically be used for different sections of your life.  For example, you can use iCal to schedule what is happening in your day to day life (it is just like a calendar).  If you are interested in music, iTunes can provide music to you 24/7. If you are in to photography, iPhoto can hold all of your pictures, and you can even edit your pictures in iPhoto.  If you enjoy making Movies, iMovie could not be a better program to help you create a movie.  It is a great program to use for school projects, or just for fun.  All of these programs provide a lot of options for people.  There are SO many programs in iLife that make your day to day life enjoyable.  iLife can introduce you to many things that are new to you.  No other laptop has a concept like iLife, and that is what is lacking from their computers.  iLife makes the process of buying a new laptop even more enjoyable.  The best of all is when you buy a product from the Apple Store, iLife is already downloaded into the laptop, there is no need to download it yourself.  So as soon as you purchase a technological device from Apple, you can instantly start playing around on iLife.

Mac vs. PC - Surgery

Watch the following (It's an Apple vs. PC Commercial based on 'surgery' for the P.C):

Upgrading laptops can take a while and the upgrade doesn't always go according to plan.  Sometimes when laptops are upgraded, the laptop had to be opened up in order to upgrade.  Upgrades usually work out really well, but they can mess up a lot of other things in the laptop if it is opened up.

Sometimes when the upgrade is done, some of the programs work really well.  This doesn't mean that every program works faster, the ones that were not upgraded tend to work slower.  A lot of the energy from the laptop goes towards upgraded programs, leaving non-upgraded programs working slower that usual.

With Macs, usually the majority of programs are updated and they all work pretty well.  A recent upgrade you can get on Macs is the Lion OSX.  Lion OSX upgrades all of the software on Mac's and has improved the processing speed of them

Apple - Textbooks

Carrying textbooks around school it not so fun, they are heavy and the pages rip very easily.  They often fall of tables, onto the floor, and damage quite easily.  Textbooks are also very expensive and are hard to maintain there good condition.

Recently Apple has partnered up with some of the biggest educational publishers in North America, including:

- Mifflin Harcourt
- McGraw Hill Cos.
- Pearson... etc

By partnering up with them, Apple will be able to have a copy of the majority of textbooks in North America on a program called iBooks 2.  Students will now be able to purchase textbooks online with iBook and in America, it costs less than $15.  Along with iBooks, Apple is planning on releasing a free program that Apple product users will be able to access.  The Apple product users will be able to make textbooks, cookbooks and many other similar contents on that program if they wish to do so.

iBooks 2 will make it easier for students to access textbooks where ever they are.  They don't have to worry about misplacing a textbook, ripping a textbook, writing on a textbook and the expenses of a textbook.  iBooks 2 will provide staff and students and new fun way of learning.   Using iBooks 2 will help students enhance their knowledge of technology and help them expand different ways of learning.
